Pete,

I think the servos are much more expensive, the Geckos are about
$130 and the servo motors seem to be much more expensive than the
stepper motors. I priced servos for my BP and found the motors in
the several thousand dollar range and the steppers about $500. The
drives are more expensive to the tune of at least twice as much if I
am not mistaken. Fortunately Geckodrive, Inc can repair mine for me
so I can use them on other projects...
