This was designed for my PWM servo amplifiers and PWM controller, but
it is a pretty general device. It has a 56 A MOSFET transistor, and an
charge pump circuit that gradually charges a capacitor, ramping the
voltage to the motor drives up at a steady rate. When the power on signal
is turned off, it activates a braking resistor that removes all energy from
possibly still spinning motors.

It has 3 power connections : Gnd, DC power in and DC power out.
It has one control signal, Power On NOT. IE. this signal is grounded
to power the drives on. It requires 5 V DC from some external source.
The Power On NOT signal is not opto-isolated.
