No, this is wrong. The Series-II is a totally different machine, and
the only interchangable
parts might be the hand cranks. I have a book with the dimensions of
the Ser-I and
Ser-I, and it is quite clear the Ser-II is a much bigger frame,
overall. Note that standard
Y travel on the Ser-I is 12", on the Ser-II it is 15". So, obviously,
the knee is much
larger. The weight is vastly greater on Ser-II, about 4750 Lbs. The
table surface is
58 x 11", and it stands 92 3/4" tall. The head listed in that book is
the 4J.

There are variations. The BOSS Ser-II has a different saddle and table
from the
manual Ser-II. That is the same on the Series-I BOSS vs. manual
machine, too.
There are 3 table lengths available on the manual Ser-I, 36, 42 (most
common) and 48".
These machines run around 2100 Lbs.
