I think I have found the source of confusion. It appears the Series1 CNC
was available with two tapers. Either Kwik Switch (200?) or 30
international. Unusually the 30 taper tooling does not use a drawbar.
Instead there is a threaded collar on the spindle nose that locates on
the flange and pushes the taper into it's socket. This makes tool
changing very quick.
