If I can figure out the settings on the switches that would be a
milestone.

Then figure out the pendant, that too would be a milestone.

And of course, figure out the code to run it.

I did notice there was originally a sensor with which one could zero
the Z axis. jut place the thing on the part or table and have the Z
touch it to zero.

not sure if that is a switch, or an electrical contact.
