Hi Lane, Fred,
Roland CAMM3 is nice! A bit out of my price range, 'tho. Fred's is really
nice also. Perhaps if I'd seen it before I started building my Baby PCB
router...
What spindle did you decide to use? Fred's "Desktop CNC Router w/ Servo
control system", uses the DeWalt DW670 trim router. You mention collets; I
notice that Fred has a collet adapter from 1/4" to 1/8", just what I was
looking for!
I picked the DeWalt trim router also. It is specified as an "AC ONLY"
motor, it has brushes, and both armature and field windings. What speed
controller can be used on it? A baby VFD?
