There is an egx-300 manual at Signsupplystore.
It has the instruction set in it for Camm-3.

I don't understand Roland's logic:
CAMM-1 machines use CAMM-GLIII,
CAMM-2 machines use CAMM-GLII,
and CAMM-3 machines use CAMM-GLI.
For the DIP switches, I'm thinking one lot will be the settings for the
serial port,
and perhaps your machine sets the character set from the second set of
DIP switches rather
than from command. (The Roland machines have inbuilt fonts.)
