HI Dave,
A Router Speed Control! Why didn't I think of that! Probably because I'm
not a wood worker!
The DeWalt trim router is apparently a series wound motor with brushes.
Does this make it a "universal" motor? A goggle search seems to quote that
as a requirement for these router speed controllers. What throws me is the
"AC only" comment on my router.
I'm guessing that they are just SCR-type controllers? I'd be curious to
hear. What trim router do you have?
I'm starting to feel more comfortable about this.
