RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Roland CAMM-3 ?

Aloha Dave,
Why did you find one? Very nice little CNC, Similar to their PNC line, It
was there first one. Sold for jewelry modelmaking and prototyping around
1994 or so. Gesswein,a jewelry tool company, sold it with ArtCAM 2 for
around $60,000 with training, but now the tech is of course, much cheaper to
get the same result. Accurate to .0025 inch resolution, similar to a
Pro-light from Light Machines, but smaller. I think I got a video sale promo
in my junk. If you can get it cheap, buy it!! I am a Roland reseller and
dealer for ArtCAM, so I can help you. Most Good CAD/CAM packages will output
the proper post for this and most Roland machines. Alot of them are toys,
this one is not!! I am sure Fred would be Happy to help you set it up as
well, good people. Many years ago he help me with a rotary post, that
worked, on another machine.Good luck, let us know how it turns out!!
