That would be interesting.
Since there are enough free hosting sites, or if someone would care to host
it, there could be a whole library of parts. It is easy enough for many to
process a .stl. Or the gcode could be up too.
It could look something like this;
Tnut M10 - Solidworks model
- Inventor model
- solid files - .stl - gcode - Fanuc
- Bosch
- iges gcode - Fanuc
- Bosch
I have not looked, but I would not be surprised if it already exists.
