Good to know. I started to explain my methodology, but wanted to wait
until some others did theirs, so as not to contaminate the test.

I opened a sketch on the right plain. Starting at to origin (0,0,0), I
rough sketched the profile (T shape). Then I used the smart dimension
tool to set the dimensions. I made sure the sketch was fully defined
(Important!) and then used the extrude tool to make the solid the
correct length.
I then used the hole wizard to select the type and size of the hole
(Tapped, through all, 10-32). Then I placed the hole on the top of the
part and used the smart dimension tool to center it both ways.
The chamfers were added with the chamfer tool by selecting the locations
on the part.
I saved the part and then selected "make drawing from part". This opened
the drawing on a template and I selected the views and added dimensions
and notes.
