I was just thinking that the dimensions are not needed, and actually just mean one more step when going from the CAD drawing to the CAM program. You will have to either delete them or tell the CAM program to ignore them.

Just for those that don't know, while we have focused on discussing the drawing that Ron posted, the reality is in many of the CAM programs to make the G-code for the part it would not even be used.

I do my CAM in FeatureCAM. Have also worked in and have a current license of VisualMill. Both work from the 3D solids file. The drawing is just to communicate additional details in most cases. I know that I have many times been given only a solid file for an outside job and drawing were never created.

Point is, the drawing is only additional info in the process of going from CAD > CAM > G-Code > a final part and not something you have to have.
