Re: Printed Circuit Board Supplies

I order some boards about 2 months ago and it seemed like their price was
about the same so it must have just gone up. In any case I hope to start
machining the traces and be done with the chemicals. I will be using the
countour2 software on a little dyna2400 milling machine to make my protos.
I have been making and drilling pcb's for years I noticed your approach to
registration. I tried that some time ago and it seemed inconsistent.
Here is what I do. I select the location of two holes kitty corner to the
board. Using mdi, I drill and mark those two holes (in the wood base). Then
I drill the coresponding holes on the pcb by hand . I use the center type
pads that print a small hole. Then using two pins I place the board over
the holes drilled into the base(wood) , secure the board in place and then
remove the pins. Perfect registraton.
