Digi Key has an iron on transfer sheet that is developed by running it
through a copier. Perhaps it works for small boards, perhaps it works once
you get the hang of it, but I was not at all impressed. Ended up paying
$400 to have the boards made for me.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial or source of info on routing PCB's?
This seems like a good approach for prototypes. Another method I have
considered is putting an etch-resist pen in the spindle of a CNC mill and
letting the machine draw the pattern on the board. Has anybody tried this?
Still another possibility is using my old HP7475 plotter with etch resist
ink. The HP7475 moves the paper and I'm not sure it would handle the extra
inertia of clad board. Comments?
