Eric,

if the transformer construction is suitable can you add a few turns
anti-phase to the secondary so they subtract from your output (??
buck winding in US parlance ??) Often the few turns needed can be
wound round the outer insulation of a toroid or the centre limb of a
conventional 'E' & 'I' core transformer with patience.
