Bruce,
this is exactly I had in mind.
But want to point out, that once you release the hydraulic pressure ,
the cutting stops,
so this can be controlled as well.
First step would be just to modify existing 10,000 psi hydraulic
cylinder, just by inserting orifice at the end.
Try it at 10,000psi with oil. Then add a bit of fine abrasive into oil -
oil should cut as well as water, IMO.
I may draw up a sketch of it once I got a minute.
