OK, I stand corrected and chastized (about the g-code).

Autonomous operation: Nearly 90% of our drives go into non-hobby, non-
cnc applications. The majority go into industrial equipment. The same
will eventually happen with the G-Rex.

The vast majority of equipment requiring motion control has the
controller performing the same task again and again for its entire
service life. It gets programmed only once.

Example: A G-Rex client runs a paper products firm. Paper passes over
a roller and he needs to keep the paper edge from wandering left and
right as it passes over the roller.

The roller pivots at one end, the other end is driven by a step motor
jackscrew. An optical sensor is located above the roller to "see" the
paper edge. It feeds back to the G-Rex which then drives the
jackscrew stepper to keep the paper edge centered under the sensor.

One axis, one analog input. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No PC
involved.
