For the price of the ebay couplings, I think I would buy a piece of aluminum and an apropriate sized reamer and make my own. They are still solid coupling though.
Has anyone made their own by cutting slits in from the sides much like DumpsterCNC does with his couplers?
I know it's easier to just buy them but sometimes it is more convenient to make one.
