I can't play anything but a fishing rod or a motorcycle engine.
A complete dummy in music except dancing rock and roll in former times.
(poner / quitar guias) is put and take of the knife guides that are conical
gibs that are moved by a piston and a lever. When the guillotine
is retracted the guides are loosened and the guillotine knife hangs free
floating
on the two connecting rods. As you may have seen the directional change is
made
by the clamp down press cylinder.

Grey cast is old stile cast iron often called GGG,
Mehanite (I always mix it up) is a special
cast iron quality that has more dimensional stability than others.
Then there is a modern thing that is called in german artificial concrete
that has a name close to mehanite. It is pretty stable too and
using it according to its particular properties gives a good
machine body too.
Mickey Mouse toys: I worked for 2 1/2 years in a Gringo owned
radio amplifier factory as contractor and they had the saying for
flimsy (wiggly and unstable) machines and fixtures that would be Mickey Mouse

toys. (In particular I remember a rooter mill made out of aluminium profiles
that shook itself apart and lost steps up to 1,5mm of position error in one
work cycle)
To my jobs they said they would have asked me for a reeth row boat
And I would have constructed them a "Bismark"battleship. At least
they can't blame me because everything I built for them is still working
fine.

I am only contractor and my best effort was to get rid of the old
General Manager, blaming him during 2 years he would be incompetent
until he finally noticed it himself and quit of his own. (in one of our last
meetings
in front of the hole leading crew he lost minimum 2 litres of sweat)
Unluckily the new General Manager is again a Master of administration
without a clue of technical know how. (Well, at least something more then
the old one) The own the local market as monopolists but they will loose
shortly or lately.

Good Night
