This is standard in the industry. Multicam (www.multicam.com ) does this
with their cnc routers. For the underside they use a grid pattern with the
vacuum lines coming in under the table. They uses foam strips in the grid
pattern to contain the vacuum. For pumps, they use a high flow pump with
about 15 inches of mercury.
