Does anyone have a personal list of the popular DOS controls in regards which
ones WILL run in a window ?
I get asked this often because some do not want to spend the bucks for a
windows control. Now some programs only like a complete DOS environment like
Ah-ha. I know that one is a pretty rigid DOS environment too. So Alt-Tabing
in and out of it is not an option.
The ones that might run in a window may have problems when Alt-Tabing in
order to use a decent Win based G-code text editor or toolpath verification
software. It would be nice to hear the details as to which programs allow the
most freedom in this area including the ability to transfer files thru a
network while underway.
What do we have out there now.....
DeskNC
CNCPro
TurboCNC
Larken Automation
Ah-ha
Microkinetics
who'd I miss??
Ballendo. Doing a Book ?? Excellent ! When is the Author Signing and Where ?
