I agree completely, not just for controls but for many other things. There
us many a pretty GUI out there that is a real PIA, IMHO to use. I don't
like the Master5 GUI either, I wish he would allow you to configure what
functions you want to see and use. Too many buttons and boxes on the screen
lead to confusion, especially when you are dealing with a machine that you
need total control of from a safety standpoint. I greatly respect the work
that has gone into Master5 and hope that Art continues the development
effort. I have attempted to used it, but Master5 and my shop computer don't
agree with each other so I am sticking with EMC.
