  Can we please either figure out how to relate this to CNC or drop it.
Discussing Microsoft's legacy support policies or the
advantages/disadvantages of alternate operating systems are definitely
not on topic. The original question of how to get my XYZ operating
systems to run a particular DOS controller was an appropriate topic and
the answers telling how to do it also were good. The thread is getting
close to computer politics now.
