Two things about this.

First, like electricty, pretend it is always hot, and dangerous.
A generation point evacuaction system (gee that sounded cool) will
not only keep your lungs clean, but your shop too. Just don't put
the exhaust by the swing set. ps: do you breathe fumes from
soldering?

There are enough cyclone seperators and water scrubbers to pull the
junk out of any air that we generate.


The other point is more engineering theory. If you look at the total
polutants and put them on a pie chart, DDT used to be about half the
problem. fixed that then asbestos went from ememy #2 to #1 and it
became about half the chart, each time we eleminate the leading
cause, a new one steps in to take it's place.

And as a last point, if you are looking for a vacuume, the HEPA
should be on the low pressure side (vacuum) NOT the blower
discharge/high pressure side. it does little good if you suck it
from here and blow it over there. besides it keeps the blower blades
clean.
