If I recall correctly United was one of the first to publish about epoxy
sensitivity. They had evidently had painters that had become sensitized to
epoxy.

The description of the symptoms and the cause quickly jumped to the Radio
Control flyers and their use of epoxy paints and glues.

Apparently the exposure is acculimative and when you accumulate enough
exposure to trigger your reaction that's it no more exposure to epoxy.

Owning and operating a good sized hobby shop for the last 33 years has lead
me to believe that there may be a similar accumulative reaction to super
glues. I know of two local R/C flyers that can not have the stuff in the
house, car, flight box. They get an asthmatic type of reaction from it.
