I've only ever heard it referred to in the electronics context. In this
context it seems more likely that someone might refer to one of the many
kinds of "loctite" out there.

I tried to do a repair once on a microphone where the plastic holding the
"ball" at the top end had been broken where it joined the body of the mic.
Unfortunately I tried to do this in a bar that was a couple of blocks from my
shop, and the lighting in there was extremely poor -- and I didn't see the
stuff running down the barrel of the mic to where my hand was gripping it,
which glued the damn thing nicely to my hand. And I had to show the guy what
was what and why I was walking out the door with his mic, since I *couldn't*
let go of it until I got the proper solvent... :-)
