Ron,

There is no "yoke" on an RF-31. You must be speaking about the
larger BP clone mills made by RF and others...

Re the RF-31/g1006, hf2119, etc.: Cardinal engineering has
retrofitted many hundreds of these for individuals and companies
such as Flashcut. So have others.
While there are variations, it IS possible to provide a kit that
works reliably.

As in the JET for example. The Yoke in the saddle, all the holes
were drilled by hand. Hand tapped, and then they drilled two 5mm
holes on angles and not in reference to anything, and drove roll-
pins in them to keep the yoke from moving around. How would one
produce a replacement yoke for this that accepts ballscrews? I spent
$90 on a yoke from Hiwin thats in a box under the bench. It wouldnt
fit anyway I tried it. I machined a bit of it and can't return it. I
wound up taking the stock yoke and boring it and removing material
to make clearance for the recirculation tubes. I thought about the
amount of support involved with selling a kit for something like
this...no way..
