I do industrial machine installations, repairs and upgrades/retro fits. I
used my first CncPRO software on a customer's machine (CNC router) and found
that the G codes and M codes are quite similar to a Fanuc OM controller and a
GE Mark Century One controller (which is now Fagor 8000 series, actually made
by Aurki in Spain). I have not used it in conjunction with a lathe but for
mills it uses the end point (X, Y, etc.) and I and J to locate the center and
set the radius. It will do either partial arcs or a full 360 degree circle.

So far we are quite pleased with the software and the way it functions. The
ability to do subroutines and loops can be especially useful in reducing the
size of a given program.

Also, Doug Yeager has been very prompt and helpful whenever I contact him
with questions.

Just my 2 cents worth on the software. I might also add that of course you
can get much better and more powerful software but I don't think you will
find any that is as cost effective as this.
