Hi Jerry,
It probably does! But at full tilt, the lamp was quite dim! I think
that if the drive and PS are giving the motor enough headroom, then NO
effect is noted (assumes max acceleration possible was not called for).
At least that's my best guess on what is happening. Remember, this is a
TEST fixture! Not intended for everyday use (although it is interesting
to watch).
Perhaps Mariss can shed a little LIGHT on this topic!
