overcome the magnets would consume half of the power you put into it.
The Gecko's take advantage of the sweet spot, where motors are easily
available and of good power.
As for the bi/uni argument, I don't think that is all that important,
I'd rather have a microstepping drive than care what style. but
there is a flip side to the e-bay thing.
just what do you think those guys are replacing that stuff with ?

stuff, but I think many of us have been lulled into ease and
simplicity where we could save a few bux and get out of the box.
