Why do you think all that stuff is on EBay to begin with?
I ran some Compumotor C-Drives with Mach2 for a while and had good results with some problems here and there.
I bought 3 Geckos for another project and fitted them in place of the Compumotor C-Drive just to try them out. The Geckos are still mounted in that machine and the Compumotors sold quickly on EBay.
The Geckos gave me higher rapid speeds, cooler running motors, and more importantly, a place to go if I need help. The Geckos are affordable, available, and serviceable.
