Yes it does at times but I think that for the hobby shop man it's
what they have found that works for them, is not too expensive
and is reliable, so I'm told

I was lucky and got myself a CNC Mill and Lathe virtually as new
along with industrial CNC component design and programming software
on the cheap when my then employer no longer require them.

Just an aside but your Finder looks bigger than my main scope (6"f8).
