I agree that would be neat. Really though - I didn't even know I was missing it until someone had mentioned it to me.. :) I don't consider it 'all but useless'... I stop the machine a lot to make measurements and clear swarf. switch on on feed hold -> run spindle override to 0. If I need to change something in the middle of a program I use 'Run From Line' to start again.
