RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] 3-Phase motor running from Single Phase Supply ?

The secret to getting 3 phase in Houston, TX and perhaps other places is to
build a new house on a previously undeveloped lot and specify a 3 phase air
conditioner. Entergy (our local power company) is required to provide
service on an initial installation to meet whatever the requirements are.
City franchise agreement says so. Any changes after that are not covered by
the agreement and you are on your own. I have a feeling that many city -
electic company agreements are like that.
So the quick solution to getting 3 phase is to build a new house.....

since, that the local power-company will not do this, any longer (supply
3-phase to a residence), even for money! But I have no confirmation, nor
real reason to believe it.
