Alan and the list
about 12 years ago when I builded my garage/ workshop I put on a 3ph power ,as
I did not want the local council to complain I told the electricity company that
I wanted the 3ph power to run a 8hp air conditioner , and they told me that I will
have to pay AUS$80. per phase and if I hook up an air conditioner of more than 5 hp within one year they will give the money back
,they put me 3 ph with
a 100 amp fuses. I did not put the air conditioner for another 5 years ,and worked
all the time with my machines for that time, I did not get the money back from them
but the extra phases paid for themselves
regards and Happy new year
