Re: DeskNC Windows version

Well Mariss,
My point was, to stop knocking people who want to make
their own controllers. I have found at least 20 sites on the Internet
where people have made their own machine from scratch. They also use
their machine for production not just bragging. To tell people they
are wasting their time build from scratch when they can buy it cheaper
is wrong.
It would be like me going around telling people Gecko drives
are overkill and they are over priced! A hobbiest can build a smaller
drive system for lots less. How would that be! Don't buy, build!
Then the shoe would be on the other foot. To recommend Gecko drives
to build a plotter is crazy, likewise a homemade system to drive
a large milling machine would not be cost efficient.
By the tone your letter I see you are biased against scratch
builders. I will redo my thinking, when people contact me about my
hobby controller. If my product won't do the job, I will no longer
suggest a Gecko or Camtronics system. I have be honest with people up
to this point! I was out to advance the hobby!
What I need to do is jump in on threads, leave a me too
message and then put a link to my website on the bottom. Retuning!

"You played a mean guitar"
