The saddle is 48" wide. So as long as the nut is in the center, you should
get that. I used flexible plastic line to run the lubricant to the nut. A
rod 1/2dia rests along one side of the inside of the cavity, and keeps the
line out of the way of the nut. (Mostly...)

Another thing to consider is how you'll keep chips out of the saddle and off
of the saddle ledge behind the table. They tend to gather there.

If you have the table plate w/ coolant trough, it might be a good idea to
keep it around. When running just the t-slotted table, coolant will pool in
the chip guard flaps on the X-axis.

It could. I didn't use it because my servo mount would have protruded too
far if I had mounted it on the extension casting. It does have the benefit
of a ready mount location uder the saddle, though.

I think Ray Henry had some thoughts about EMC'ing a Moog at some point. I
skipped the Moog head altogether, so I really can't help any there.
