Wasn't there a setup where the ballscrew was attached in place of
the stop nut? Seems like I've seen that. My quill coupling yoke has
a good sized lug on the front of it so that might be worth looking
at too, although I don't know how it would be possible to get the
parts in there close. The other thing is, although I don't really
think it would take that large of a ballscrew to generate a 200 lb
load, especially since it only has to travel about 5 inches, still
there have been plenty of times when I've used the manual lever on a
mill just because the feed clutch would kick out, so it might take
as much as 500 lbs to give a good safety margin. But with that sort
of a loading requirement, what sort of a servo would be needed?
