Just a quick update, I managed to unload the machine from the
trailer today, and it went pretty smoothly. Among other things, I
angled the trailer down in the back, attached the ramps, used the
winch to pull the pallet off onto the ramps, and then used the truck
to pull the ramps out from under the pallet. Took it real slow and
cautious and had it unloaded in about 3 hours. I hope to begin
disassembly tomorrow. I'll leave the mill on the pallet until the
new shop goes up, then plan to drag the pallet into the new building
and lift the mill off with an overhead hoist or other method,
depending on what gets finished when. I'm really looking forward to
having a look at the pieces.
