Re: Encoder Indexer Option

Unfortunately this card is not quite right to use for homeing...To do
this you will have to do a logical "and" function with the index
pulse and a home switch...This card has no such provision...

On paper this is easy to do with a "and" gate IC. But in actual
practice a lot of thought has to go into it for things like noise
protection / signal conditioning (may need schmitt trigger), possible
pulse stretching or latching, ect...
