Hi, servo motors generally are put together with better tolerance, and often
tested to meet some specification, many already mentioned in other replies.
the dc. motor quit often is built simply for horsepower rating with looser
tolerance and quite often without any specification other than horsepower.
using a good controller will make most dc motors behave well for our
usage.cul brian f.
