I am no chemist, but I can tell you, it DEFINITELY does! it involves some
NASTY tricks with nascent sodium particles, high-tech vessels and
temperatures and all that "chemical engineering stuff", so the PTFE is
"electroplated" onto the metal of the screw. It is certainly NOT "spray-can
and oven"!

"Can't hurt to try"??? If you aren't at least a BS is ChE not suffering from
rectal-cranial inversion, you best not fiddle with this! You can at least
asphixiate yourself, fume your dwelling with halide vapors, gas your
sleeping family-members, and ruin a perfectly good manicure in the process!
