The electronics are pretty easy at this point if you buy one of the
ready-to-use solutions (I prefer RAMPS from either Ultimachine or Lulzbot).
The building is easy and will get easier in a week or so when I release my
new printer design. I'll try to remember to post to the list when I finish
it.

CAM is easy--- sort of... It has gotten far easier than it used to be, and
once you have your machine configured it is quite simple, but the initial
configuration can be tricky. Keeping the machine running is also
challenging... the machines seem to be self-aware and quite temperamental...
It is a rwarding hobby, but can be quite frustrating at times. Sill I love
my reprap. Out of all the tools I own, it is the one I would least be
willing to give up.
